Mission stop harcèlement: An Educational Escape Game to Raise Young People's Awareness

11/02/2025

This February 6, 2025, we have launched a project that seems essential: Mission Stop Harcèlement

This project is the result of a collaboration between Code 39 and Loisirs Gessiens, our French subsidiary.

In Switzerland 12% of students Secondary I or cycle students are victims of school bullying. Behind this number are humans and victims.

We decided to turn these statistics into concrete action by creating a educational escape game, intended for raising awareness among young people between 11 and 15 years old, the age group most affected by this problem.

Why an Escape Game to raise awareness?

The school bullying is a complex problem, often trivialized or ignored by students. Thanks to the game, this barrier is removed. The escape game creates a space exchange where students can explore the issue of bullying in a way interactive, without fear of being judged.

Through collaborative puzzles and challenges, they learn to recognize the signs of harassment, understand the role of witnesses, feel the impact on victims and, above all, identify concrete solutions to take action.

Rather than a simple theoretical presentation, this immersive experience places them at the heart of the problem, encouraging them to think, react and find answers themselves.

Much more than just a game

With Mission Stop Harcèlement, students are not limited to a simple fun experience: they learn, analyze and leave with concrete resources to better understand and prevent bullying.

At the end of the escape game, each participant receives an educational booklet, a key tool to deepen the lessons of the game and extend the reflection beyond animation.

Depending on the needs of the institution, the experience can be enriched by:
📚 A theoretical part before the game, to explain and inform about the concept of harassment.
💬 A time for exchange and debate after the animation, where students share their feelings, and research together, to find sustainable solutions.

An Adaptation for All School Levels

Because a single format cannot meet the needs of all ages, we first designed Mission Stop Bullying for high school and junior high school students.

But the initiative does not end there. Very soon, new versions will be released, specially designed for high schools and primary and secondary schools II, with scenarios and teaching materials adapted to each age group.

Awareness-raising must start at an early age, which is why our aim is to offer a tool that is accessible to all students.
